The Bristolians

As fellow Bristolians, there is a huge sense of community spirit. Bristol businesses support Bristol businesses hence the Bristol pound.

This ideology makes us happy. The personal relationships we have with our customers would be difficult to replicate in a different city. We are a family run office supplies company from our directors, to our delivery drivers. Bristolians are very friendly and are always up for a chat, give us a ring today and find out for yourself.

It’s the perfect size

Bristol is a perfect size, it’s small enough to have this sense of community yet is big enough to sustain a thriving business sector. Bristol is accessible with a good external road and rail network and is close to motorway links in all directions. This allows our delivery drivers to personally deliver all stationery, office supplies and furniture to Bristol and surrounding areas (even with the inner city traffic).

The city itself

Bristol is a beautiful colourful city. It was just rated the best place to live in the UK! What's not to love? We are located in Fishponds/St George just round corner from St George's park, Bristol has an abundance of open green spaces. Our sales team like to keep a personal relationship with our customers and they are out and about most days enjoying the scenery (working as well of course). We love the mixture of old and new buildings in this city, this goes for the businesses as well.

The amount of family run, independent businesses, gives Bristol its unique culture. Gloucester Road boasts the longest chain of independent shops in the whole of Europe and that is something we at Braleys are very proud of! Lastly, there is good food everywhere and there is always something to do!

The staff

Matt is Bristol born and bred and is one of our experienced sales team, he has been with Braleys for over 10 years and working in the stationery business for much longer… His passion outside of work is football, he is the Lead Scout for Bristol City FC academy (foundation phase) in the South West area. We asked him for some words on why he loves selling office furniture, stationery and office supplies in Bristol he replied...

"I love that I have built up such a good relationship with my customers and that now most of them have become good friends. I take interest in my customers and their business, I learn about the different departments within each company, so that I can help with people's individual and specific needs. I love this City and enjoy that I can get to visit different areas and meet new people. I don’t see myself as a Salesman, I always try help to find a solution even if this means we lose out on a Sale, trust is the key for me… I feel lucky to be able to honestly say I like every one of my clients.”

You’ve got to love the start-ups

Bristol is a very creative city. It has a culture that is supportive of creatives, so it’s no surprise that there are a lot of start-ups. We have proudly worked with many start up's, however, one does stick to mind. When we were first introduced they only had 8 staff members these days they have over 250. The possibilities in Bristol are endless. This can do attitude is definitely one of the reasons we love Bristol.
